Casting Cloud is the casting platform behind some of the biggest names in live theatre. It streamlines casting end to end, connecting productions with the right talent through a fast, modern web experience.
Built as a React / Next.js app on Vercel and backed by Google Cloud Platform, it now powers 13 live productions and over 10,000 artists — including shows like Disney's The Lion King, Michael Jackson: The Musical, Moulin Rouge!, The Book of Mormon and Mrs. Doubtfire.

2022 · Simple MacOS desktop timer
Scratching my own itch to become more familiar with swift 5, and as a PM often faced with time boxing conversations that have a tendency to run away and spiral into hours of debate, Eggl came about. The modern egg timer.
In full transparency, I didn't create this from scratch, but with permission took the open source project from Michael Villar and evolved and simplified it for my own purposes, which is now available on the AppStore where its now used by hundreds of daily users.

A native macOS app built on ScreenCaptureKit, AVFoundation and SwiftUI: record a whole screen, a single window or a dragged section, with a camera bubble, click ripples and a keystroke overlay, then trim it in the built-in player. Recording is free, unlimited and watermark-free — every take is just a file on your Mac — and sharing turns one into a link anyone can watch and react to without an account.

Floodway
2026 · Australian river levels & flood alerts
Floodway tells you what the river is doing — and what's coming toward you. Official Bureau of Meteorology and state agency gauge data, drawn as a linearised river you can scrub back through time, with flood classes, rate of rise, catchment rain and the peak each gauge saw in past floods.
Built for the people who live and work on the water: alerts fire on upstream triggers with travel-time estimates, not just the gauge at your own door, and falling-level "pump window" alerts say when it's low enough to work. A Next.js app on Vercel over a Postgres ingestion pipeline, starting with Victoria's Wimmera catchment. Decision support — not an official warning service.

2026 · Invoicing for macOS and iOS
Billfold is an invoice generator for small businesses on macOS and iOS, kept in sync through iCloud. Set your business details up once, draft an invoice in seconds, export a professional PDF, and keep a searchable history with sent, paid and overdue status.
New businesses start from their own region's defaults for currency, paper size and tax, covering 70-odd regions, and exports land in the CSV layouts Xero and QuickBooks expect. Built on SwiftData over CloudKit, with App Intents for Shortcuts and Siri.

Whilst at Redbubble I experimented with SEO and ability to influence page rank through long tail search results. I also used the opportunity to explore off the shelf search tooling (Aloglia) and AWS services.
While no longer maintained, Codesticker.com still generates enough traffic and revenue for a monthly coffee.
